Radix and its subsidiaries are committed to the stable and secure operation of its TLDs. Abusive use of domain names creates security and stability issues for registries, registrars and registrants – as well as for users of the Internet in general. Accordingly, Radix requires that every domain name in its TLDs and Registered Name Holder adhere to this Acceptable Use and Anti-Abuse Policy.
This lookup tool checks to see if the Domain you enter is currently Suspended.
serverHold is a status applied on a domain name by the Registry Operator. Your domain is not included in the zone file and will not resolve. It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes or when your domain is subject to abuse cases.
Radix follows a strict no abuse policy. If we have a reasonable suspicion that a domain name registered at Radix is being used in for phishing, malware, sale of counterfeit goods, hosting of illegal content, or otherwise being used for any illegal activity, or any activity which is in violation of our Acceptable Use and Anti-Abuse Policy, such domains are termed abusive and suspended with immediate effect and placed on "serverHold" and/or optionally under a Registry Lock. This may occur as a result of an abuse report, or because the domain name appeared on a list of abusive domain names.
Any suspension action on a domain name is informed to the respective sponsoring Registrar under which the domain is registered. All relevant details about the suspension and the reason for suspension are provided in the email sent to the Registrar on records.
Radix has a setup with the major RBLs in the industry such as Spamhaus, SURBL, Google Safe Browsing, etc. In most cases, domains are suspended based on reports received from these sources. You may use our Suspended/serverHold Domain Lookup Tool to find if your domain is Suspended or not. And if it is suspended, the reason for suspension and source of report will be displayed on the lookup page.
Based on the serverHold lookup result, you may query the respective RBL website for the domain listing. Lookup URLs of the respective RBLs that we follow are listed below.
In most cases, listings will expire automatically after the cease in abuse activity. So if the domain is not listed at the specified RBL, you may update us about the same and we shall assist you in unsuspending the domain.
However, if you find your domain name still listed at the RBL, we suggest you first get it delisted and then update us with the details for unsuspension. The delisting instructions are mentioned on the listing page itself.
