It’s been a little over 3 years since .TECH domains set off on a journey to redefine the internet namespace for the technology fraternity. Over time .TECH has emerged as the preferred domain name of choice for the tech community.  Leading technology brands, enthusiastic students, avid programmers, and cutting-edge startups looking to establish a relevant and brandable online identity for their tech endeavors have opted for .TECH. With this, it is safe to say that the future is being built on .TECH domains! To establish awareness and encouragement at the grassroots level, .TECH works closely with student hackathons from around the world. Student hackathons are a great destination for newbie programmers and passionate students to get their hands dirty on live projects that they believe in. .tech has been part of around 350 Hackathons so far and has successfully reached around 60k students. Hackathons are the place where students and tech professionals come together to collaborate and to create innovative solutions to complicated challenges for businesses and end customers. A lot of phenomenal startups that have been conceived at hackathons have gone on to get funded and become successful. In this article, we take a look at some promising student hackathons that we collaborated with in 2018. These incredible hackathons are all using .tech domains to denote their identity on the internet.   1. Superposition.tech is a San Francisco based 200-person hackathon aimed at middle school, high school, and college females in the Bay Area of all experience levels and backgrounds. Superposition aims to generate a larger interest and help more girls learn and thrive in the technology-related fields. student hackathons             2. Chicagohacks.tech is the premier high school hackathon in Chicago that looks to educate newer students on computer science while also helping the more advanced programmers excel. Chicago Hacks strives to spread and educate students on computer science in the Midwest region. student hackathons             3. Mvhacks.tech is an annual student-run high school hackathon hosted by students of Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, California. Their goal is to spread awareness about coding, computer science, and technology. MV Hacks is free for all participants and any high school student can participate.student hackathons             4. Tinohacks.tech is a two-day 350-person hackathon hosted by Cupertino High School students in California where both new and experienced programmers can work together on projects, learn new skills, and have a splendid time. Tinohacks is only open to high school students.student hackathons           5. Hashhacks.tech is a Delhi (India) based 24-hour hackathon where students channel time, energy and enthusiasm into building a product or service which can help create change. HashHacks empowers attendees to focus their efforts on building a product or service which is focused on transforming the future. student hackathons           These hackathons are providing students and programmers with a promising platform to build their careers in technology and are thus driving the wheel of change among these young learners.
