What is the company like?

Radix is The Directi Group’s initiative to globally operate 30+ new top level domains including .online, .tech, .web, .music, .blog, and .shop, as a part of ICANN’s project to open new, meaningful internet addresses.
Radix is India’s only and Asia’s largest new gTLD applicant under this program, and expects to play a large role in the global diversification of the internet namespace. The company recently launched .online, .site and .tech after having won some of these properties in a private auction. 
Radix TLDs are leading the charts as the top
fastest growing extensions with some TLDs breaking records to become the leader in the new domains pack.

What is the Job like?

The UX/UI designer will be responsible for maintaining a high level of experience on all our websites, microsites and landing pages. The job entails taking web designs from the wireframing phase to the final UI with a focus on enhancing user experience. This is an individual contributor role in our central design team reporting directly into the head of marketing.

  • Lead all web design projects including websites, microsites, landing pages, etc
  • Responsible for owning projects and creating mockups and final UI while keeping UX in mind
  • Assess and fix UX issues on all company owned websites (20+ websites)
  • Masterminding and executing design ideas
  • Creating graphical user interface elements
  • Designing visually stunning and usable designs for web pages, emailers, banners etc.
  • Coordinating with various teams and fulfilling multiple requests while meeting tight deadlines

Who should apply for this role?

  • Excellent understanding of navigation and GUI for maximum usability
  • 3-4 years of experience in web design with at least 1 year of focus on UX/UCD
  • Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and other design software
  • Flash/After effects skills will be an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of HTML,CSS and other web technologies to assess limitations of design
  • In depth knowledge of UX processes
  • Creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
  • Pro-activeness in presenting or 'pitching' new ideas and designs
  • Good communication skills
  • Out of the box thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail
